About the Role:

As a Data Engineer & BI Solution Expert at Experts Inside, you will help clients gain clarity from data, creating practical BI solutions that go beyond just beautiful reports. You will bring data together, make it usable, and build solutions that work in everyday practice, not just in concept.

You will combine technical implementation with an understanding of the client's situation, translating requirements into robust solutions. The end goal is that everything runs smoothly, is accepted by the team, and measurably makes a difference.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Data and BI solutions on the Microsoft platform (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, Power BI)
Build and develop data architectures and scalable data pipelines
Model data warehouses, lakehouses, and semantic models
Process and transform large datasets using SQL, Spark (PySpark), and Dataflows
Create dashboards and reports in Power BI for various target groups
Ensure data quality, performance, and governance
Conduct workshops, technical deep dives, solution presentations, and participate as a speaker at conferences
Support presales with proposals, architecture, and solution designs
Develop demos, prototypes, and collaborate with internal expert teams
Advance best practices and integrate AI and Copilot features into solutions

Requirements

Application Requirements

Very good understanding of Data Engineering, BI, or Analytics. You can develop and implement concepts.
Experience in the Microsoft environment. Ideally with Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, Azure Functions, or DevOps.
Interest in AI topics is a plus. For example, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio, or Foundry.
You understand how data and cloud architectures work. APIs and integrations are not foreign to you.
Experience in consulting or direct customer contact is helpful. You are comfortable with workshops or presentations.
Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of working with people
Very good communication and presentation skills
Very good German and good English skills in speech and writing
