The "Financial Services" division of Sopra Steria focuses on retail banking, private banking, and specialized financial services. We are participating in the digital revolution through our expertise in process automation, Big Data, AI, and Cloud. We support the transformation of our clients in the areas of Credit, Risk/Compliance, and Payment Methods.

Composed of about 100 Data Engineers, you will meet experts in Data Platforms, Data Architects, and other specialists in data valorization.

You will be supported in the development of your knowledge through various Data paths: ingestion, construction of datahub, transformation and valorization of data, modeling, and making data available. Joining the Sopra Steria Data Factory means integrating a community of Data Engineers proud to share their knowledge and open to new experiences and data experimentation.

Your Role and Missions

In the context of setting up Data platforms for our clients and according to your experience and interest, you will participate in:

• Understanding business needs and translating them into data engineering and/or data analysis solutions;
• Implementing data ingestion solutions whether in batch or streaming in a Cloud context;
• Structuring the DataLake, setting up data governance and data security processes;
• Processing data up to its exposure to the business;
• Implementing the CI/CD chain and its supervision;
• Technological watch with our publisher partners and setting up Prototype Design, Proof of Concept, or MVP with the objective of ideation for our clients.

Technical environment: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Elastic, Cloudera, Azure HD Insight, Informatica, Talend, Stambia, DataStage, SAS, DataIku, DataBricks, Qlik, SAP BI (BO), Power BI, Java, Scala, Python, R

Your Profile

Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent, you have already participated in a Data project (Big Data, BI) and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.

• You place particular importance on the development of your skills on several technologies. You want a real career evolution through project experience.

• You want to pass on your knowledge to less experienced colleagues.
