About the Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer (DBT / Snowflake) to join our team. You will be responsible for building modern data platforms and scalable analytics solutions for our clients in the fintech, insurtech, asset management, wealth management, and compliance sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines
  • Develop and maintain data transformations and analytics models using dbt
  • Work with Snowflake as a primary cloud data warehouse
  • Optimize data pipelines and warehouse performance
  • Collaborate with analytics, BI, and product teams to deliver reliable datasets
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and testing
  • Work with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow or similar)
  • Maintain documentation and data lineage
  • Support analytics and reporting use cases
  • Improve data platform scalability and reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
  • Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing complex queries
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud DWH (BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformations
  • Experience building data pipelines in cloud environments
  • Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow or similar)
  • Python for data processing and automation
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling)
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Good English communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with modern data stack tools (Fivetran, Stitch, Airbyte, etc.)
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
  • Experience with streaming data pipelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
