About the Position
As a Data Engineer, you will work on technical solutions that support engineering, data, and business-facing teams. You will play a key role in building and maintaining a scalable and reliable data platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions that serve internal engineering, data, and business teams
- Write and manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and build, test, and deploy solutions through CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate closely with the technology department on solution delivery, infrastructure, architecture, and platform development
- Design and deliver high-quality data solutions that solve specific business problems
- Ensure platform security by managing governance tooling, identity management, and connectivity
Requirements
- A degree or demonstrable expertise in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience building data engineering solutions
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, data lakes, scheduling, and orchestration
- Ability to lead design discussions and own a platform domain end-to-end
- Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, and data engineering principles
- Solid understanding of cloud computing, containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and database design
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving results
