About the Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in Matillion and Snowflake to join our remote team in Europe, focusing on developing and optimizing data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration on the development of a data platform that connects global logistics processes and enables efficient work with large volumes of data.
- Development of new solutions in the Matillion and Snowflake environment following established templates and standards.
- Ensuring the complete E2E process: requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, compliance with quality and process standards.
- Creation and maintenance of reusable components to increase development efficiency.
- Expanding and modifying existing solutions, adding missing documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Providing 3rd-level support for complex issues through ServiceNow.
- Cooperation is fully remote across the whole EU.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with:
- Matillion (at least 3 years of commercial experience)
- Snowflake (at least 5 years of commercial experience)
- Jython
- Experience with:
- Designing and implementing ETL processes
- Optimizing data solutions and ensuring quality
- Ticketing and DevOps activities (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Advanced knowledge of:
- SQL (creating and optimizing complex queries)
- Knowledge of:
- Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe)
- SDLC processes
- English language at B2 level or higher (active verbal and written communication)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of PowerBI backend
- Experience in logistics or large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with other BI and data tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
