We are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer (m/f) for a hybrid role in Porto.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions using Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Apache Kafka.
• Develop ETL scripts and data pipelines using Python.
• Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Apache Superset or similar BI tools.
• Model and query relational and analytical data for financial and operational reporting using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems.

Requirements

• Hard Skills:

  • More than 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in finance, commerce, or logistics.
  • Solid experience with Apache Spark (batch processing), Apache Flink (streaming), Apache Kafka (event streaming and data integration), Python (ETL scripts, data processing), and SQL (for modeling and querying structured data).
  • Experience in creating data visualizations and dashboards using Apache Superset or similar BI tools.
  • Proficiency in designing relational and analytical data models for financial and operational reports.
  • Familiarity with trade finance platforms, ERPs, or logistics control systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based data infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Fluency in English (international client, all communication is in English).
