About the Position

Data Engineer (Northern Belgium)

Are you a data engineer who is responsible for building, maintaining, and keeping operational the data pipelines and integrations that supply the Microsoft Fabric platform with data? If so, Xebia is looking for you!

Responsibilities

• Building, maintaining, and keeping operational data pipelines and integrations
• Ensuring a reliable data supply for the Microsoft Fabric platform
• Working within the architectural frameworks established by the Data Governance Board
• Collaborating with the Data Platform Lead

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in scripting and structured programming in typed programming languages
• Familiarity with software engineering, cloud, provisioning, streaming, and automation
• Fluent command of Flemish and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern data tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Spark, Flink, Fabric, Docker, Terraform, etc.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience working for different clients and in various environments
