For our client, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Data Engineer

Workplace: Warszawa

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, testing, and deploying data integration solutions based on requirements established in collaboration with specialists from various fields (including database modeling, data analysis),
• Acquiring data depending on business needs,
• Evaluating new data sources in terms of data availability and quality,
• Preparing datasets for analysis, which is a significant contribution to business decision-making processes,
• Maintaining a source code repository (SQL, Python, R) in accordance with versioning principles, Using standards/architectural patterns/APIs that will allow easy use of complex datasets,
• Assisting in training end-users on data access and resolving issues reported by users,
• Supporting the design of structures that are part of data acquisition processes, Presenting to managers and analysts: progress, observations, and results of work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience using file systems that store large datasets,
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems,
• Good knowledge of Python, SQL (schema design/index creation, search, and administration) and REST API,
• Knowledge of multi-threaded data processing,
• Strong focus on implementing ideas to improve data reliability, performance, and quality,
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
