The "Financial Services" division of Sopra Steria focuses on retail banking, private banking, and specialized financial services. We are participating in the digital revolution thanks to our expertise in process automation, Big Data, AI, and Cloud. We support the transformation of our clients in the areas of Credit, Risk/Compliance, and Payment Methods.

Composed of about 100 Data Engineers, you will meet experts in Data Platforms, Data Architects, and other specialists in data valorization.

You will be supported in the development of your knowledge through various Data journeys: ingestion, construction of data transformation flows, and data valorization. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your skills with our hyper-scaler partners AWS, GCP, Azure.

Responsibilities

• Understanding business or technical needs and translating them into data engineering and/or data analysis solutions;
• Developing data ingestion and data quality processing;
• Providing expertise in the development of data nodes and flows under Snowflake;
• Structuring best practices related to the use of Snowflake;
• Implementing the CI/CD chain and its supervision;

Technical environment: Snowflake, Python, PySpark, HDFS, HIVE, SQL, Gitlab CI, XLDeploy,...

Requirements

• You place particular importance on the development of your skills and those of your peers. You are recognized for your ease in transmitting your knowledge and your pedagogy.
• Graduated from an Engineering school or equivalent, you have a minimum of 3 years of experience with the Snowflake solution. A certification in this field is highly appreciated.
• You are mindful of the value you bring to your clients.
