Data Engineer

HiQ is growing in AI, data, and cloud – and we are now looking for Data Engineers who want to develop our customers' solutions and be part of our AI initiative moving forward.

About the Position

As a Data Engineer at HiQ, you will build and implement scalable data platforms in the cloud, from ingestion via ETL/ELT to real-time analysis and AI integration. You will also design and optimize data models and data flows, including streaming technologies like Apache Kafka or similar, and implement robust CI/CD processes and work with IaC.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering and cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
• Good knowledge of Python and SQL for managing and optimizing data flows
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt)
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in data engineering, data science, computer science, or a related field
• Fluent in Swedish and English in both speech and writing

Nice to Have

• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud projects
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with AI/ML workflows
• Experience in working closely with customers in technical projects
