About the Position
Data Science Engineer (DV Cleared)
Location: London or Manchester
Security Clearance: DV Cleared
Salary: Up to £80,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Science Engineer to support a growing Data Science function within a major public sector programme. You'll be working on the design and development of robust data processing systems that underpin analytics, data science, and machine learning use cases.
This role offers the chance to work on complex data platforms while collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders in a highly skilled multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data processing and integration services
- Supporting Data Science and Machine Learning workloads through well-engineered software solutions
- Developing high-quality, testable code using modern engineering practices
- Working within secure cloud-hosted environments
- Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong interest in data, particularly Data Science and Machine Learning
- Solid software engineering background with experience in Java, Python, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- DV Clearance in place
