Data Governance Analyst Semi Senior

About the Position

Inetum, a global technology and digital innovation services company, is looking for a Data Governance Analyst Semi Senior to join our team in Colombia. This role involves managing data governance projects in the financial sector, ensuring compliance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the functional execution of data governance projects, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory deliverables.
• Conduct functional assessments with critical process owners in Risk and Finance, documenting the AS IS / TO BE and proposing data quality improvements from the source.
• Define and deliver clear functional specifications that can be used by development teams to implement solutions.
• Replicate or automate processes using Python, SQL, and PySpark as part of data modeling and rule validation.
• Support end-to-end process documentation and the generation of user stories for the agile team.
• Manage alerts, risks, and incidents of the work plan.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or financial risk projects, preferably in the financial or insurance sector.
• Practical proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark for queries, validations, and functional automations.
• Previous experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of regulations such as IFRS9, BCBS239 and financial risk processes.
• Ability to interact with functional and technical areas, communicating business needs and translating requirements into solutions.
