About the Role

As a Data Management Consultant, you will play a key role in guiding our clients through their data-driven transformations. Your expertise will help them extract value from data and develop into more data-driven organizations. You effortlessly bridge the gap between technical teams such as data scientists and analysts, and business stakeholders. You can clearly translate complex data concepts into concrete business insights.

With your strategic mindset, you will support business leaders in identifying and prioritizing challenges, focusing on the greatest impact. You are convincing in presentations to senior management, can clearly convey data strategies, and can well explain why data governance is important at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

End-to-end data quality, governance, and management within various projects.
Contributing to business development and pre-sales activities, playing a significant role in our growth.
Designing and delivering innovative data solutions in sectors such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, Industry, Consumer Goods, Energy, Utilities, and Financial Services.

Requirements

Core Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Strategy, and Data Management.
- Knowledge of legal aspects of data governance, such as GDPR, the AI Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Experience with data management implementation programs and IT delivery methodologies.
- DMbok certification is a plus.
- Experience with data catalog tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Azure Purview.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure (preferred) or other major cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data governance solutions.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong consultancy skills, including excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience in Agile environments such as DevOps, SAFe, and Scrum is a plus.
- A passion for surprising clients with innovative and creative solutions.
- Willingness to travel, both within the Netherlands and internationally.
