As a Data Manager, you will lead and grow a cross-functional Data Team, implementing data solutions that bring direct impact to Glovo.

You will own a Data Domain’s problem space end-to-end, cooperating with Product, Engineering, and Business to achieve the Tribe’s objectives.

By joining our large and vibrant Data Community, you will contribute to cross-team initiatives and learn from talented colleagues.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of Product Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Analytics Engineers, focusing on building the highest performing and most engaged team
  • Evolve the data models that make sense of your Business Domain, ensuring hundreds of consumers can self-serve data effectively with the best experience
  • Own the Domain’s North-Star metrics and provide qualitative reporting to continuously monitor and improve them
  • Be the competitive advantage for Product and Business, delivering data-driven actionable insights through advanced analytics
  • Contribute to the Glovo Data community by leading cross-functional projects and sharing knowledge across crafts

Requirements

  • Core Skills:

    • Comprehensive understanding of Data, from Data Engineering, to Data Analytics, to Data Science
    • Strong technical leadership in Product Data Science, with proven experience in delivering data-driven impact, leading advanced analytics projects, and mentoring ICs
    • Experienced in People and Team management, with a track record in building high-performing teams
    • Excellent communication in English, being able to inspire a vision, catalyze action, and influence decision making
  • Secondary Skills:
