About the Position

We are looking for a Data Migration Architect to join our Data & AI team at Cegeka. Within our dynamic team of data experts, you will play a crucial role in our challenging projects. Your passion is bringing data from various sources together and processing it so that the data can be used for data analysis, visualization, and data science. Responsibilities

Work with the project team to ensure our clients are guided through their migration journey.
Guide the client in making choices regarding technical solutions and advise them on the right data infrastructure.
Analyze existing data structures.
Develop data migration strategies and implement them.
Execute ETL processes to migrate data from source systems to target systems.
Ensure data quality during the migration process.
Troubleshoot potential data migration issues.
Optimize and document data migration processes for performance and efficiency.
Stay updated on new data migration technologies and best practices.
Lead the competence center around data migration thanks to your expertise.

Requirements

Relevant bachelor's or master's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.).
Several years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
Strong analytical skills and common sense.
Knowledge of SQL and Python and database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Experience with data validation, cleansing, and quality testing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a team.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Flexibility to travel to client sites as required; if not required, you can work from the Cegeka office nearest to your home (Antwerpen, Gent, Hasselt, or Leuven) in combination with remote work.
