About the Position
We are seeking a Data QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and correctness of our data warehouses (DWH) and analytics marts. This role is pivotal in maintaining the reliability of business metrics and the accuracy of ETL processes.
Responsibilities
- Data Validation: Ensuring data quality at all stages of the pipeline.
- Data Comparison: Comparing data between different sources.
- Verification: Checking the correctness of aggregates, metrics, and business logic.
- SQL Query Writing: Writing SQL queries for testing.
- Data Quality Monitoring: Continuously monitoring data quality.
- Issue Documentation: Documenting any identified issues.
- Collaboration: Working closely with data engineers, BI analysts, and product managers.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years in a similar role.
- Core Skills:
- Data validation
- Writing SQL queries
- Data quality monitoring
Nice to Have
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Experience with Airflow / DBT / SODA / GitLab
- Knowledge of Python
