About the Position
Data Quality Analyst - London (Hybrid) - Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI - Up to £55,000

If you enjoy getting into the detail of data, working closely with both business and technical teams, and helping prevent issues before they reach production, this role will suit you well.
Responsibilities
- Working with business stakeholders and data teams to identify data quality risks early
- Performing hands-on data discovery, profiling, and validation at source
- Investigating root causes of data issues and supporting corrective actions
- Supporting data migrations through mapping validation, reconciliations, and quality checks
- Raising and tracking data defects through trial runs and live cutovers
- Translating business needs into clear data quality rules and requirements
- Working with engineers to implement quality controls, monitoring, and alerts
- Maintaining data quality metrics, KPIs, and supporting governance standards
Requirements
- Experience in a Data Quality Analyst, Data Assurance, or similar role
- Strong hands-on skills with SQL, Python, or similar for data analysis and validation
- Experience working with Databricks, Delta tables, and data quality frameworks
- Background in data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and migration support
- Good understanding of data pipelines and engineering best practices
- Experience creating Power BI dashboards and quality metrics
- Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory requirements
- Comfortable working across business and technical teams
- Able to deal with changing requirements and ambiguous data challenges
Azure or data-related certifications are beneficial but not essential. A degree is welcomed but equivalent experience is equally valued.
