About the Position

We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to join our innovative team at deepsense.ai. As a Data Scientist, you will work on impactful AI projects, collaborate with top AI experts, and contribute to open-source initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data from exploration and cleaning, through modeling, to generating business insights.
• Utilize classical and non-linear ML models (regression, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) and libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn.
• Create analyses and visualizations that directly support business decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Science, delivering end-to-end, data-driven solutions.
• Proficiency in classical ML techniques (linear regression, feature selection methods, predictive modeling, time series) and non-linear methods (gradient boosting, random forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost).
• Fluent programming in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn.
• Effective data management and analysis using SQL.
• Ability to create clear and engaging visualizations (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way.

Nice to Have

• Experience in data engineering and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Dash).
• Experience in NLP or leveraging LLMs/Generative AI.
