Data Scientist - H/F/NB

Join Ubisoft Paris as a Data Scientist to innovate and enhance interactive gaming experiences with AI.

Responsibilities

• Identify objectives based on design team specifications and player data analysis, and define evaluation protocols.
• Design prototypes and train models to meet these objectives.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to transfer prototypes and define success criteria for integration.
• Work with designers to analyze AI behaviors and identify game improvement opportunities.
• Identify experimentation and innovation opportunities.
• Communicate your work and results in a pedagogical manner to a diverse audience.

Requirements

• At least one significant experience as a Data Scientist, during which you led projects on interactive products (games, apps, real-time systems…).
• Proficiency in Python and Tensorflow or PyTorch (experience with PySpark is a plus).
• Solid foundation in statistics and evaluation methods (exploratory analysis, statistical tests, A/B testing).
• Comfortable with complex and sequential data analysis from interactive systems and good knowledge of LLM.
• Good listening, understanding, and ability to translate client needs into specifications.
• Demonstrates autonomy, curiosity, and a genuine interest in video games.
• Fluent in English for comfortable written and oral exchanges with international counterparts.
