About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions across Microsoft Fabric and Purview environments. In this role, you will define security architecture, establish access controls, and ensure compliance with enterprise security policies while safeguarding sensitive data against emerging threats.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current security controls and compliance requirements to identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Define the security architecture for Microsoft Fabric and Purview, ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies
  • Design RBAC, data access patterns, managed identities, secret management, and network/security boundaries
  • Establish monitoring and audit requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and threat detection
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security requirements into the overall architecture
  • Implement security controls and policies to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Evaluate and recommend security solutions and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture
  • Provide guidance and best practices for secure system and network design
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities
  • Support implementation validation and participate in security reviews to ensure effective deployment of security measures
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address potential risks

Requirements

  • Expertise in security design and implementation across Microsoft Fabric
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance
  • Skills in identity and access management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) design, and data access control
  • Knowledge of network security architecture and best practices
  • Competency in managed identities, secret management, and data protection strategies
  • Understanding of security monitoring and audit requirements
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks and standards
  • Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)
