About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

Locations: Georgia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Uzbekistan

Work Type: Remote

Responsibilities

3+ years of working experience as Database Administrator
Significant experience in using MySQL for mission-critical applications
In-depth knowledge of MySQL backup/recovery and replication
Knowledge of MySQL clustering technologies like Galera Cluster is desirable
SQL and query optimizing techniques with a demonstrable ability to both diagnose and prevent performance problems
Assist the development teams with database design and schema modifications
Expert understanding of high-performance MySQL (>50k QPS)
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Clickhouse
Core skills and attributes

- Thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced organization
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote workplace
- Strong Linux administration skills

Experience with GCP (the primary cloud platform) or AWS data products and services
Knowledge of Ansible
Experience with Helm
