About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with expertise in SQL Server 2016, 2019 administration to join our team in Krakow, Poland. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and strong performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and strong performance
  • Monitor overall database health and system metrics
  • Perform tuning and optimization of databases
  • Diagnose and resolve database-related issues
  • Refine and enhance SQL procedures and queries
  • Develop and deploy database scripts for automation and maintenance tasks
  • Administer Change Tracking and Replication processes
  • Participate in migration initiatives
  • Recommend improvements to processes to enhance availability and performance
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Requirements

  • SQL Server 2016, 2019 administration (including SSRS, SSIS)
  • Always On Availability Groups
  • Transactional Replication
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL and query-optimization techniques
  • Experience with database performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of database partitioning
  • Familiarity with SSRS administration and report development
  • PowerShell scripting (including dbatools)
