About the Position
Company: An innovative, fast-growing, and progressive investment firm is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, responsible, and strong Database Administrator to join their team of professionals. LOCATION: Limassol, Cyprus (relocation and visa help)
Responsibilities
- Organization of backup
- Query optimization
- Support for fault-tolerant configurations
- DBMS monitoring support
- Optimization of Linux settings, storage systems, virtual machines for high-load DBMS operations
- Finding and solving problems with DBMS performance
- Identification of “heavy” queries that arise during the operation of application systems on a DBMS under Linux
- Records management
Requirements
- Self-organization, independence in work and decision-making, attentiveness, creative approach to solving non-standard problems
- English Intermediate
- Experience in administering SQL similar databases, we use Mariadb
- Experience in administering high-load databases
- Experience in operating DBMS under Linux
- Replication, backup, recovery
- Experience in finding problems in databases operating under high load
- Working with SQL queries
