About the Position
Database Architect Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Database Architect to join our team and take charge of designing, managing, and optimizing our extensive database infrastructure. With over 4,500 databases under management, this role is critical to ensuring the scalability, performance, and smooth functioning of our data systems, which support the backbone of our recruitment services.
Responsibilities
- Database Management: Oversee the architecture, organization, and security of our complex database ecosystem, ensuring all systems run efficiently.
- Migration & Upgrades: Lead the migration of large-scale database collections, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruptions to operations.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, implementing solutions that enhance system reliability and speed.
- Scalability Enhancements: Improve database scalability to handle growing data demands, ensuring the architecture can support expanding business needs.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with internal teams to identify gaps in data management and provide structured solutions, educating team members on best practices.
- Project Leadership: Play a crucial role in high-impact projects, contributing to the success of our recruitment services through innovative data solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Database Architect, Database Administrator, or a similar role managing large-scale data environments.
- Proficiency with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
- Experience in database migrations, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, able to share knowledge and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
