About the Position
Databricks Architect/Engineer - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)
We're seeking a Databricks Architect/Engineer with 10+ years experience in data and analytics to join our team in Solna, Sweden, focusing on modern data platforms.
Responsibilities
As a Databricks Architect/Engineer at Tieto Tech Consulting, you will:
- Design and implement scalable platforms with a focus on Databricks.
- Migrate from traditional environments such as Azure Synapse.
- Code in Python and manage CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
- Structure Medallion architecture and ensure quality in various data lakes.
- Provide advice on cloud architecture (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Contribute to internal skill development through workshops or mentorship roles.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data & analytics with a strong technical foundation in modern platforms.
- Approximately 10 years of relevant work experience, with eight years in data and analytics focusing on architecture and solution design.
- Proficiency in Databricks and Python.
- Experience with CI/CD and working in Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of scalable, secure cloud architecture, preferably in Azure.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Certification in Databricks.
- Experience with tools such as DBT, Airflow, or Spark.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and data modeling.
