About the Position

Bosch Rexroth Corporation is seeking a Production Planning Manager for Hydraulic Units in Industrial Machinery based in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki, Japan.

Bosch Rexroth Corporation operates the electric servo driver system business, such as hydraulics and FA module components. The company provides products and solutions mainly related to hydraulic and electric drive in a wide range of areas such as construction, general industrial machinery, and FA equipment.

Leveraging the characteristics of high power hydraulic drives and highly efficient electric drives, Bosch Rexroth helps to save energy and clean up exhaust gases in construction machinery and general industrial machinery. Bosch Rexroth is also contributing to higher safety and reliability of machinery. In factory automation module components, Bosch supplies an extensive lineup of components, such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, to meet needs on the front lines of manufacturing.

Responsibilities

1. Production Capacity Planning

• Develop production capacity plans based on medium to long-term demand
• Formulate equipment investment plans
• Plan and promote factory utilization improvement measures

2. Make or Buy Decision

• Develop Make or Buy policy
• Formulate outsourcing utilization strategy
• Examine optimal production systems considering cost, quality, and delivery time

3. Business Growth Support

• Develop business growth scenarios from a production perspective
• Support new product launch planning
• Participate in future product portfolio examination

4. Factory Operations Improvement

• Analyze factory KPIs
• Promote productivity improvement measures
• Lead business process improvement projects

5. Coordination with Related Departments

• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, SCM, design and development, and sales departments to solve challenges

Requirements

必須 (Required)

• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing
• Experience in production planning, factory planning, business planning, or production management
• Project management experience
• Ability to conduct numerical business analysis
• Business English proficiency (TOEIC 700 points or higher)
• Native-level Japanese proficiency

• Experience in factory efficiency improvement
• Experience in capital investment planning
• Experience in cost improvement activities
• Experience in in-house/outsourcing strategy formulation
• Experience in collaboration with overseas factories
