About the Position

Debitorenbuchhalter (m/w/d) bei Venlo

We are seeking a Debitorenbuchhalter (m/w/d) for our Venlo office. Manage accounts receivable, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and support our finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing & Communication: Ensure the correct and timely processing of customer invoices. This includes proactive communication with customers regarding transactions, managing payment delays, and processing credits to resolve account issues.
  • Accounts Receivable / Collections: Monitor and collect overdue accounts to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). This includes written and verbal communication with debtors regarding outstanding invoices and coordination with collection agencies when necessary.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with internal teams such as Customer Service, E-Payments, Accounts Payable, IT, and ERP to optimize accounting processes.
  • Account Reconciliation & Payment Management: Conduct account reconciliations, handle open items, and meticulously maintain and manage customer payment information.
  • Payments: Decide on payment deferrals, process credits, and validate accounts receivable during accounting audits.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Experience in accounts receivable with a solid understanding of B2B and B2C financial processes in an international environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: High technical affinity and proficiency with financial and accounting systems.
  • Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English.
