Job Description
About Your Tasks:
- Transaction Processing & Communication: Ensuring the correct and timely processing of customer invoices. This includes proactive communication with customers regarding transactions, managing payment delays, and processing credits to resolve account issues.
- Accounts Receivable / Collections: Monitoring and collecting overdue receivables to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). This involves written and telephone communication with debtors regarding outstanding invoices and coordinating with collection agencies when necessary.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with internal teams such as Customer Service, E-Payments, Accounts Payable, IT, and ERP to optimize accounting processes.
- Account Reconciliation & Payment Management: Conducting account reconciliations, processing outstanding items, and meticulously maintaining and managing customer payment information.
- Payments: Deciding on payment deferrals, processing credits, and validating receivables as part of accounting audits.
Requirements
About You:
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling discrepancies in accounts. You enjoy researching and always approach customers with friendliness and a service-oriented attitude.
- Professional experience in accounts receivable with a solid understanding of B2B and B2C financial processes in an international environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
- High technical affinity and proficiency with financial and accounting systems.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
