Decommissioning Technician

About the Position

We are seeking a Decommissioning Technician for a plant closure project based in Tuas, Singapore. This is a contract engagement for a duration of six months with a target start in August, offering a monthly salary of up to S$6,000 along with a S$250 monthly transport allowance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with engineering and management teams to execute assigned workflows in accordance with established quality and safety regulations.
• Organize daily task schedules with planning personnel to ensure facility and machinery asset projects proceed according to timeline objectives.
• Manage external service partners during the execution of technical adjustments and asset field activities.
• Execute equipment validation and measurement alignments to support ongoing operational readiness.
• Implement workplace safety protocols, hazard mitigation measures, and energy isolation procedures during field activities.

Requirements

• Academic or practical foundation in an engineering or technical discipline, with direct experience handling machinery assets.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety systems, including energy isolation protocols and hazardous walkdown procedures.
• Prior experience or capability in equipment measurement alignment and calibration verification is highly advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in plant equipment’s calibration/commissioning within manufacturing industry GMP experience.
• Ability to work effectively within structured compliance environments such as Good Manufacturing Practices.
