Project Manager

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Ukraine and Poland. As a Project Manager, you will lead technical leaders, ensuring appropriate and timely technical strategic decisions are made and that products/solutions are delivered as expected.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for three key goals:

1. For Innovecs: Hire, manage, and develop a world-class team of leaders and software engineers.
2. For your employees: Facilitate the collaboration of engineers with other engineers beyond your organization.
3. For the Client: Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and earned value of client projects.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Hiring world-class engineers that fit with our culture.
• Adhering to leveling standards for all team members.
• Onboarding, coaching, mentoring, appraising, and fostering career growth.
• Setting priorities based on company, organization, and client needs.
• Ensuring company, organization, and client expectations are met.
• Applying project management methodology to all engagements.
• Escalating issues in a timely manner and mitigating risks.
• Distributing stakeholder updates on a regular cadence.
• Setting and achieving desired quality goals.
• Learning the client’s business and developing proposals for future engagement.

Requirements

• 4+ years of team management experience (hiring, developing, leading, and managing an enterprise-level engineering team).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent education or experience.
• Demonstrable experience leveraging resources to achieve company and project objectives.
• Experience building collaboration in an organization both horizontally and vertically.
• Hands-on experience with the development of software engineering processes and best practices.
• Track record of on-time delivery.
• Experience with setting and achieving quality goals.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Time management and team collaboration skills.
• Stakeholders management.
• Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Project Management certification and/or Agile certifications.
• Software Development or QA experience.

Tech Stack

• AWS, Azure, Snowflake
• Angular/React, .Net/Java, Python
• Strong plus: experience with AI-enabled projects.
