Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
We are a DevOps as a Service company, looking for a Delivery Manager to drive project implementation for our clients. You will closely collaborate with technical leads, taking over all non-technical communication and activities.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of project delivery and timelines, and proactively identify risks and dependencies.
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements, clarify business goals, and align expectations.
- Collaborate with technical leads to define scope of work in a project based on the business needs of the clients.
- Assist with creation of technical tasks (task definitions are written by technical leads).
- Handle task management: manage scopes, milestones, task priorities, and estimates.
- Monitor task progress, ensure quality delivery, manage risks, participate in stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Communicate updates to the clients, act as the non-technical point of contact between the client and engineering team for assigned projects.
- Support multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively, manage scope adjustments, and prevent scope creep.
- Organize internal and client-facing demo sessions.
- Track warranty period updates and collect feedback from the clients.
- Participate in improving delivery workflows.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years as a Delivery Manager / Project Manager / Account Manager (IT preferred).
- Understanding of project management methodologies: Practical experience with any (Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum) is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with Project Management tools and services: (Jira, Asana, OpenProject, etc).
- Understanding of the SDLC and DevOps role in a project.
- Strong communication skills: For interacting with clients, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working in small and medium-sized companies.
- English level: Written and spoken B2-C1.
