Demand & Supply Planning Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking a Demand & Supply Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This role involves overseeing and managing the commercial end-to-end planning, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver the desired business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall end-to-end planning and S&OP requirements for the assigned Business Unit, including input to Plan and Forecast preparation. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy.
• Lead the BU S&OP process, ensuring regular scheduled meetings occur and quality data on past performance and future forecast is available for S&OP review.
• Deliver the area-defined inventory target.
• Propose changes to stock parameters considering MOQ and safety stock for Area approval.
• Manage inventory, including management of obsolescence.
• Manage promotional inventory requirements and seasonal changes to inventory holdings.
• Plan replenishment of product to maintain supply service levels, regular reporting of all business-related and customer-related KPIs.
• Establish strong working relationships with marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders to achieve the best service level.
• Plan supply of finished goods purchased to suppliers/intercompany and define an appropriate inventory strategy to achieve the desired service level.
• Establish related reports to ensure delivering necessary information for decision-making.
• Responsible for people management in areas such as performance management, development plans, and capabilities up-skilling.
• Perform business-related tasks required from planning.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, supply, statistical science, or Operations or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in supply/demand planning and determining priorities in a highly pressured working environment.
• Strong experience in driving the S&OP process.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or sales will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in SAP APO SNP and MS Office (especially MS Excel).
• Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Results-oriented and proactive mindset.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English.
