The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation - Head of the Department of Medical and Preventive Care. This role is critical in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals served in health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Responsibilities
- Organization of Preventive and Therapeutic Measures: Responsible for the organization of preventive and therapeutic measures aimed at protecting and strengthening the health of persons served in health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, providing control over their implementation according to the standards established by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
- Control Over Elimination of Causes and Conditions: Provides control over the elimination of the causes and conditions of occurrence and spread of outbreaks of infectious diseases, occupational diseases, epidemics, poisonings of the contingent attached to departmental medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
- Document Preparation: Prepares relevant documents, including methodological recommendations, instructions, etc.
- Development of Draft Regulations: Ensures the development and takes direct part in the development in accordance with the established procedure of draft regulations on the treatment of diseases of any nasology, including those with COVID-19.
- Medical Services Provision: Receives citizens for the provision of medical care, other medical services in departmental medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular in the conditions of acute respiratory illness COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
- Organization of Medical Institutions: Organizes the provision of departmental medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with medical equipment, medicines, dressings, etc. Provides control over their storage, accounting, and rational use.
- Cost Calculations: Within its competence, organizes the consideration of calculations of the cost of paid services provided by health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Requirements
- Education: Higher education with an educational degree not lower than a master's degree in the field of knowledge “Health Care” in the specialty “Medicine”.
- Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “C” or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years.
- Proficiency in the State Language: Fluency in the state language (Ukrainian).
We Offer
- Official Salary: 16,000 hryvnias according to the staffing table.
- Increase by Rank: In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017, No. 15 “Issues of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (with amendments).
- Other Allowances: In accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”.
