Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation

About the Position

We are seeking a Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation to join our Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv. The role involves overseeing health and rehabilitation services, ensuring the implementation of preventive and therapeutic measures, and managing health institutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the organization of preventive and therapeutic measures aimed at protecting and strengthening the health of persons served in the health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Organize the introduction of the latest technologies, new methods of diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide work planning, development of targeted and prospective programs of departmental medicine on the organization of medical care, and control their implementation.
• Organize the work of health institutions to eliminate the causes and conditions of occurrence and spread of outbreaks of infectious and other diseases, epidemics, poisonings, etc.
• Directly participate in the development of draft regulations on the treatment of diseases of any nosology, including those with COVID-19.
• Organize the provision of institutions with medical equipment, medicines, dressings, etc. and control over their storage, accounting, and rational use.
• Consider complaints, applications, letters, and other correspondence received by the Department, and receive citizens.
• Head inspection teams for auditing the activities of institutions and prepare tasks and their briefing.
• Participate in the preparation of draft estimates for the maintenance of institutions and monitor the implementation of its articles.
• Contribute to ensuring the implementation of a unified state policy aimed at achieving equal rights and opportunities for women and men.

Requirements

• Education: Higher education with an educational degree not lower than a master's.
• Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “C” or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in the state language (Ukrainian).

We Offer

• Official salary: 16,000 UAH
• Allowances, surcharges, bonuses, and compensation in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”
• Increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15 “The issue of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (as amended)
