Deputy Director of the Department of Informatization - Head of the Information Security and Cyber Defense Department

Join the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a Deputy Director of the Department of Informatization - Head of the Information Security and Cyber Defense Department.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and ensures the implementation of the information security and cyber defense strategy and policy within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Ensures documentation of security policy violations, investigates the causes of such violations, and provides recommendations for their resolution.
• Controls access to the Department of Informatization's information resources, analyzes, and evaluates the access management system to prevent unauthorized user actions.
• Coordinates data protection activities during data processing within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including compliance with information processing regimes.
• Ensures the execution of the Director of the Department of Informatization's instructions.
• Organizes the provision of methodological and practical assistance to information system users on information protection issues by the Department of Informatization's management.
• Plans the work of the Department of Informatization's management and the timely execution of planned activities.

Requirements

• Education: Higher education at the master's level or higher.
• Work Experience: Experience in civil service positions of categories "B" or "V" or service experience in local self-government bodies, or managerial experience in enterprises, institutions, and organizations of any ownership form for at least two years.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in the state language.

• Required Documents:
  1. Application for participation in the competition with the main reasons for occupying the position in the form according to Appendix 2 to the Regulations on the Competition for Civil Service Positions, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 246 dated March 25, 2016 (with amendments).
  2. Resume in the form according to Appendix 21, which must include: surname, name, patronymic of the candidate; details of the document proving identity and Ukrainian citizenship; confirmation of the relevant higher education degree; information about work experience, civil service experience (if any), experience in relevant positions in the relevant sphere specified in the competition conditions, and managerial positions (if relevant requirements are met).
  3. Statement indicating that the candidate is not subject to the prohibitions specified in parts three or four of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Power Purification" and consent to verification and disclosure of information about them in accordance with the said Law.
  4. Copy of the State Certificate on the Level of State Language Proficiency (extract from the Register of State Certificates on the Level of State Language Proficiency) confirming the level of state language proficiency determined by the National Commission on State Language Standards.
