About the Position

We are currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Markham, ON, CA. In this role, you will help provide critical expertise as we, along with our valued clients, deliver solutions that positively impact communities around the world.
Responsibilities
- Manage a program with very large or complex inter-related projects or multiple moderate size projects, representing multisector Capital Improvement Plans ranging from hundreds of millions to more than $1B in total capital value.
- Represent the owner in managing 3rd party designers and constructors.
- Represent the organization as the primary contact on contracts and projects.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the program including: all phases of planning and execution of a Capital Improvement Plan.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to respond to client priorities.
Requirements
- 9+ years in a senior project and/or program management role; PM, EM, Planning, Project Controls, etc.
- Active P.E., PgMP, or PMP certification.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSc Eng. or MBA or similar.
- Utility Manager or Program Manager with experience managing CIP projects from >$1.5M to $10M+ construction value in any of these sectors: Stormwater, Roads, Parks, or W/WW Facility or Linear projects; at least 1 project > $10M construction value.
- Previous experience leading or overseeing design of at least 5 concurrent design projects in any of the following sectors: Stormwater/drainage, Roads and/or Bridges, Parks & Rec Facilities, W/WW Treatment Facilities, or Linear infrastructure.

- Competitive compensation range: $159,504.00 CAD - $265,843.00 CAD.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
