About the Position
Kronospan, the worldwide leading manufacturer of high-quality wood-based panel and associated products, is seeking an ambitious, experienced, and committed Design Center Manager for our newly established design center located in Budapest.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing interior designs and furnishing layouts
- Assisting customers with their selections, utilizing suggestive selling techniques
- Communicating with other departments, external companies, partners, and industry professionals regarding projects
- Continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional brand image
- Specification management
- Collaborating with other branch staff to ensure excellent customer service-from the initial project or concept through to delivery and beyond-and supporting other marketing activities
- Actively participating in the organization of events and other promotional activities (including the Design Center grand opening event)
- Managing overall workflow organization and planning
- Leading and supervising staff at the Budapest Design Center
- Reporting
Requirements
- Finished university/college studies, preferably in architecture or interior design
- Marketing experience is an advantage
- 5-10 years experience in a similar field
- Fluent Hungarian and English, another European language knowledge is an asset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional attitude with a persuasive, kind, and positive personality
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp
- Capability of working independently, high tolerance of stress level
- Highly self-motivated personality with a can-do attitude
- Efficiency at work; problem-solving skills
