Responsibilities

• Build production-ready frontend code in complex, component-driven applications.
• Utilize TypeScript, React, and modern CSS (Tailwind) with a focus on component architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain design systems in production, not just in Figma.
• Leverage tools like Base UI, Storybook, and Figma Code Connect.
• Experiment with microfrontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs.
• Create internal tools, developer experience improvements, or workflow automation to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production-ready frontend code in complex, component-driven applications.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS (Tailwind).
• A portfolio or body of work that demonstrates both technical depth and design sensibility.
• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems in production.
• Familiarity with tools like Base UI, Storybook, and Figma Code Connect.
• Exposure to microfrontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs.
• A track record of building internal tools, developer experience improvements, or workflow automation.

Technical Fluency with AI Tools

• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Familiarity with MCPs and how tools like Figma, Figma Console, and Notion connect into AI-assisted workflows.
• A dabbler and experimenter who tries new tools, pushes their limits, and shares what is learned.
• Excitement about how AI changes the way software gets built and opinions about its future.

Mindset

• A tinkerer who spots leverage points and builds what is needed.
• A focus on systems over features, building reusable components rather than bespoke solutions.
• Redesigning ways of working, not just product surface area.
• Strong convictions about quality but knows the difference between polish that matters and perfection that stalls.
• Operates with high ownership and low ego, mentoring engineers, taking direction from product designers, and pairing with teammates.
