Job description
About the Position
We're looking for a Design Lead to join our hybrid Brussels team. We’re looking for a design leader with deep expertise in brand and digital design, someone who pulls the best work out of the people around them. Think creative concepts, visual narratives, brand identity in every form it can take. You connect creative thinking to business objectives instinctively; strategy shows up in the work itself, not as a separate step bolted on afterward. You'll shape digital brand experiences for clients who don't play it safe, raise the creative bar for the whole team, and help win the business that lets us keep doing it. If you're fluent in AI and genuinely curious about where it's taking design next, we’d like to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives
- Collaborate with strategists, developers, 3D artists, motion designers, and copywriters to bring ideas to life
- Present and defend design decisions with clients and stakeholders
- Build out UI, brand, and design system standards across web, mobile, and immersive projects
- Run design reviews to keep quality and creativity high across the team's output
- Run pitches for new business
- Inspire peers by sharing trends, proposing sessions, and advocating design culture
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of design experience, ideally agency-side, with a strong UI/brand/product portfolio
- Advanced Figma, AI (Claude Suite, Cursor, etc.) and Adobe Suite skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and design systems
- Proven ability to lead projects or teams
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting and defending ideas
- Self-starter able to manage projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field
Nice to Have
- Interest in motion, illustration, 3D, frontend, or generative AI
We Offer
- 4 weeks of paid holidays
- 6 supplementary/compensation (paid) days (pro rata temporis)
- Private healthcare insurance
- Group insurance
- Meal vouchers
- Eco-vouchers
- Joint Committee gross bonus
- Transportation/bike allowance /company car /bike lease (if eligible)
- IT equipment (laptop)
- Mobile subscription (no device)
- Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses
All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
