Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
East Europe Foundation, as part of the USAID/UK Dev project “Digital Transformation Activity” (DTA), announces a competition for the position of a Designer for the reform of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Start date: June 2024.
Term of engagement: until the end of 2024 with a possible extension.
Employment: part-time.
Work format: online.
Responsibilities
- Working with visuals for social networks (Facebook, YouTube, etc.): pictures for posts, stories, carousels, infographics, etc.;
- Visualization of the brand book;
- Creation of illustrations for informational materials: photo collages, artistic photo processing/retouching, simple graphic illustrations, etc.;
- Layout of POS materials: leaflets, flyers, vanpagers, booklets, badges, etc.;
- Design and layout of electronic presentations and landing pages;
- Creation of design layouts for outdoor advertising: billboards, citylights, banners;
- Interior design: design layouts of banners, presentation stands, brand walls, images for wall projectors;
- Creation of corporate identities for individual public events;
- Branding of souvenir products (hoodies, T-shirts, shoppers, stickers, etc.);
- Performing other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to provide services in the state language (knowledge of English is an advantage);
- Efficiency, responsibility;
- Developed soft skills and sociability;
- A sense of corporate style and the ability to work with it;
- Knowledge of the basic principles of prepress;
- Knowledge of typography and color theory;
- Artistic education is an advantage;
- Understanding of design trends in social media;
- Ability to work with technical specifications and read technical requirements for layouts;
- Successful experience in design support in the public and non-governmental sectors will be an advantage.
