About the Position
We are seeking a Middle Python Developer to join our QA Department – Dev in Test Malevich Team in Kyiv. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new frameworks, services, and technologies to automate testing of the system and convert the syntax of tests written by the QA department into constructs for framework execution.
- Maintain and improve existing frameworks, services, and technologies.
- Work with CI infrastructure (Jenkins, Bitbucket-pipelines).
- Write high-quality, understandable, commented, and maintainable code with unit test coverage.
- Conduct thorough and well-argued code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial Python development experience.
- Proficiency in asyncio (tasks, coroutines, context switching, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of Python "under the hood" (memory allocation, optimization, etc.).
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and best programming practices.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Basic knowledge of docker and containerized environments.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of testing frameworks (Pytest, Unittest).
- Basic knowledge of OC Unix/Linux.
- Knowledge of multiprocessing and sockets.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, bitbucket, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Knowledge of binary serialization (e.g., messagepack, protobuf, etc.).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
