Responsibilities

• You will work closely with our software developers to further develop and improve our existing platform.
• Our IoT platform EFOY Cloud connects our intelligent fuel cell systems with our customers to offer them important remote monitoring and control options.
• You will monitor and optimize several existing, reliable web services, ensuring significant added value for our customers.
• You will support developers in all infrastructure matters and enable efficient work through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• You will live Infrastructure as Code. Your core task is to automate manual work.
• We work with a modern tech stack including Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Cloudflare.

Requirements

• You have a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable professional qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in the development and operation of cloud-native web applications and the use of Python scripts.
• Monitoring cloud services using Grafana/Prometheus and automated notification systems is a natural part of your daily work.
• Experience and motivation to work with Kubernetes and Terraform to achieve high reliability, security, and automation.
• You have a deep understanding of Linux-based operating systems and common web service protocols.
• Professional experience in designing, operating, monitoring, and backing up relational database clusters. Experience with time series databases is a plus.
• Additionally, you bring extensive experience with IaaS services from public cloud providers (especially Azure, alternatively GCP or AWS).
• Creativity, teamwork, and analytical thinking skills, as well as very good English language skills in speech and writing, round off your profile. German skills are a plus.
