About the Position

Development and Prototyping Engineer | Caldas

Tekever in Caldas da Rainha is seeking a Development and Prototyping Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and prototyping engineering solutions that meet product requirements, ensuring technical validation and readiness for production, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Creating 3D/2D drawings and overseeing the production process.
• Prototyping and Component Validation: Prototyping and validating components.
• Material, Component, and Manufacturing Method Selection: Selecting appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing methods.
• Product Improvement Analysis: Analyzing product improvements based on requirements and specifications.
• Documentation Preparation: Preparing documentation to support production.
• Product Support: Supporting various products developed by the company.
• Technical Drawing: Reading, interpreting, and creating technical drawings using CAD software.
• Solidworks Experience: Experience in Solidworks (preferred).
• Manufacturing Methods Knowledge: Knowledge of subtractive, additive, and lamination manufacturing methods (valued).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience: Proven professional experience in similar roles (preferred).
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Portuguese at level C2 and English at level B2.
• Skills: Problem-solving ability, proactivity, teamwork, and good communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt in a constantly innovating environment.
