About the Position

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. We are seeking a Development Engineer (m/f/d) – Private 5G to join our Managed Technology division. This role will involve specifying, implementing, and testing new system features for Private 5G network solutions, ensuring a thrilling experience for all guests at international live events.

Responsibilities

Specify, implement, and test new system features for Private 5G network solutions.
Design and build end-to-end Private 5G (campus network) solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Collaborate within an Agile team to develop, integrate, and continuously improve system architectures.
Provide after-sales support and ensure stable operation and optimization of deployed solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring high system reliability and performance.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Over two years of hands-on experience in IP/Ethernet network design and development.
Solid understanding of 3GPP mobile network technologies, with familiarity in 5G.
At least two years of practical experience in Python and Django development.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills combined with a customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
