The "Energie & Telecom" division supports major players in the sector in France in the fields of thermal, hydraulic, and nuclear power production and distribution; and also telecommunications. In the energy sector, within an agile context, our teams of experts participate in projects around digital transformation to lead our clients towards an ecological transition. As a Developer, you participate and support the evolution of projects, create new solutions thanks to more competitive and sustainable technologies.

Responsibilities

In the context of an Energy project for one of its major clients, Sopra Steria ensures the application maintenance of a Web application pool:

• Taking charge of evolution requests (versions)
• Realization of new applications
• Handling and correction of anomalies

Attached to the project team and in relation with the project quality manager, you participate in the different activities of the project as well as the industrialization sites, notably:

• Development of evolutions during the versions, according to the agile SCRUM method,
• Correction of identified anomalies,
• Implementation and deployment of Sopra Steria's industrial tools,
• Automation of deployments to facilitate continuous integration,
• Maintenance and automation of unit and non-regression test campaigns.

Integrated within an Agile team, you discover all the facets of the IT engineer's job by participating in both technical and functional tasks: functional and technical design, development, and acceptance. You thus benefit from the experience of the other team members.

Requirements

• Dynamic, open, and serious, all facets of the IT profession interest you, you are the right profile.
• Java knowledge is essential.
• Angular and microservices knowledge are a plus.
• Education level: last year of engineering school/M2 computer science or equivalent training.

Technological/Functional Environment:

You work on a large-scale Web portal as part of the maintenance of the equipment of a major player in the energy field.

The portal is functionally very rich and interfaces with a complex IS, inducing an integration work very rich in teachings.
