DevOps Administrator

About the Position

Kyivstar.Tech is seeking a DevOps Administrator with practical experience in Linux system administration, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure, as well as helping to automate processes and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of the team and the company.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Configure monitoring with the support of colleagues from the monitoring department
• Set up incident management with the support of colleagues from the monitoring department
• Develop and implement backup plans
• Develop and implement automated deployment
• Develop IaC solutions
• Write technical documentation
• Process incidents
• Establish communication between departments to build automated monitoring of the company's Core services
• Conduct reviews and analysis of the correctness of dashboards implemented in Grafana

Administer VMware (CloudUP) infrastructure:

• Test new vendor implementations
• Improve existing solutions

Requirements

• Knowledge of Red Hat/Oracle Linux system administration
• Knowledge of Docker
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools
• Experience with Ansible
• Ability to work with Terraform
• Advanced Git skills
• Monitoring expertise
• Experience with VMware products
• Scripting and programming skills
