DevOps AWS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supporting development teams with product knowledge, technical guidance, and solution design
• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and build environments
• Managing and improving infrastructure automation and configuration processes
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance on improvements and best practices
• Supporting infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises air-gapped environments
• Contributing to the planning and implementation of new features and technical improvements
• Supporting monitoring and observability initiatives
• Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and efficient delivery

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery
• Practical experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker and Docker Swarm
• Good knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, Subnets, AMIs, ALBs, S3, and ECR
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure principles
• Experience working with both cloud and on-premises, air-gapped environments
• A good understanding of JSON
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions and have an appreciation of ELK Stack and Grafana
• Experience with firewall management, preferably FortiGate
• Understanding of Agile development processes and a strong DevOps mindset
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with development and infrastructure teams
• Proactive and comfortable contributing to technical planning and continuous improvement
• Good English communication skills (at least B2 level)

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
