DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Automation of tasks related to the development, release management, and operation of business applications (Gitlab, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
Automation of software development processes, code quality improvement, and support for development teams (SonarQube, ArgoCD, Snyk, Trivy, Nexus).
Development, debugging, and improvement of monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems (ELK, EFK stack, OpenShift, Talos on-premise Kubernetes).
Creation and maintenance of deployment guides and installation step documentation (Confluence, SharePoint).
Promotion of efficient operation between development and operations.

Requirements

Higher education degree in a relevant field.
2+ years of experience in DevOps, application management, or infrastructure management.
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Knowledge of microservice architecture.
Basic knowledge of Bash, Python scripting, Groovy, and Java software development.
Knowledge of Docker technology.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Database knowledge: SQL / NoSQL.
Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, Java, Angular, NodeJS, Spring Boot.
Git-based development knowledge, knowledge of branching strategies.

Automation / Operations Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD tools).
Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana.
Knowledge of the Elastic stack.

Bonus Skills:

CNCF certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
Experience in fintech system development.

Preferred Skills for Software Development:

Several years of Java development experience.
Project experience in planning and building on-premise systems (OpenShift, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills for Automation / Operations:

Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform.
Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes operations.
Knowledge of SonarQube.
Knowledge of deployment automation tools.
