DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our tight-knit platform team of five. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our infrastructure, supporting over 100 developers and ensuring our high-traffic health and wellness applications are reliable for millions of users worldwide. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain our core infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for applications serving millions of users
• Enhance and manage our self-hosted GitLab CI/CD platform, creating templates and shared containers to empower over 100 developers
• Champion observability by leveraging DataDog for in-depth monitoring, logging, and incident response
• Automate everything using Infrastructure as Code principles with OpenTofu (Terraform)
• Collaborate and troubleshoot with development teams to resolve complex issues across the entire software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Solid experience working in a Linux environment
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS)
• Proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd)
• A strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitLab CI
• A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform or OpenTofu
• Production experience managing Kubernetes workloads
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog

Salary

Gross salary range is 5000 – 5900 EUR/month.

Location

Vilnius, Lithuania: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
