About the Position
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic, highly technical team focused on building reliable, scalable, and automated software delivery environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with IT architects, developers, testers, and application administrators to design, implement, and optimize DevOps solutions that support complex engineering and operational needs. You will also maintain strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between delivery capabilities and organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Act as a key contributor in establishing robust operational workflows across development, testing, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
- Apply solid engineering principles to streamline development processes and serve as a subject-matter contact for requirements, architecture, design, coding, and testing.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize team-level development practices.
- Ensure consistent application of security policies by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate remediation measures.
- Contribute to safeguarding data integrity, system availability, and secure operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for cloud and data-center operations, offering guidance on automation strategies and operational best practices.
- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.
- Implement IaC and CaC to support scalable, automated, and consistent environments.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and modern software delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) tools.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and data-center operations.
- Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability identification, and remediation processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a continuous improvement attitude.
